I'm working on a mixed media (ink, marker, pencil, paint) piece on WOOD! I had this lid to a wine box hangin out in my basement and it said "hey buddy, make a drawing on me," and i was like "Hell yeah!"

This is exciting to me because i am so used to paper or canvas i could just spit. Also the creative framing possibilities are endless.

The pic is of a green goddessy type lady with green dreadlocks, prismatic eyes, and flowers in her hair (those were done on paper and cut out, the salvagable part of a prior failure). I'm going to add some plastic jewels, confetti, glitter, and beads to it as well.

I hope i can get her done before next saturday because that's my next show. I'll put it in my deviant gallery when it's done.
